Independent Goodwood Photographers Guild.
The Independent Goodwood Photographers Guild is an unusual in that it is based on a Facebook group for those who photograph at Goodwood at the various motorsport events.
The group was formed in October 2015 and now has over 1000 members. We are going into our fourth year with our annual Photo competition. This years competition has received 396 entries from 71 entrants. We have just completed the first round of judging with Le Mans driver Nic Minassian, Jeff Bloxham respected motor sport photographer, Alan Brewer from the Goodwood Road Racing Club. They have reduced the images down to 60, 6 from each class. The Duke of Richmond & Gordon will judge this final selection for the class winners and choose the Duke’s award.
On Sunday 24th February all the entries will be displayed at our annual exhibition. The exhibition will take place from 12 - 4pm at Boxgrove Village Hall, The Street, Boxgrove, PO18 0EE (Just 2.5 miles from the Goodwood Motor Circuit) with an entry fee of just £1. Teas, Coffee and snacks will be available. A raffle with some excellent prizes and you can vote for your favourite photograph. More details at www.igpg.photography.
