In addition to the usual displays of vehicles of classic to modern cars on Saturday and Sunday offering a variety of vehicles such as HGVs, buses, tractors, military and emergency vehicles, SparParts will be returning on Sunday for the TruckTown Arts Festival, funded by Arts Council of England. Also there will be the Music Festival with a variety of local bands performing on the cobbles and Foden’s band playing on Sunday who will do there usual march down the High Street to The Old Hall. Don’t forget on Sunday there will be the parades starting from 3pm. Why not see the Spitfire on the Commons next to the ERF and Army Cadets on the Commons; there is a link to the town with the Spitfire as ERF raised £5,000 to purchase a Spitfire which went into squadron service with a Canadian unit of the RAF in 1941.
