YORKSHIRE MOTORSPORT FESTIVAL
The Yorkshire Motorsport Festival aims at becoming one of the key classic car events in Northern England. The competitive centrepiece is a closed-road hillclimb – The Wolfstone – to be held just outside of Holmfirth (Last of the Summer Wine Country) in West Yorkshire, which will be for pre-’78 two-seaters. There will also be demonstration runs from all sorts of other machinery over the weeknd. The Wolfstone Hillclimb is going to be a round of the Jaguar Drivers Club speed event championship with an entry of 80 cars. Around it there will be all sorts of other motoring/motorsport features. The Northern Concours d’Elegance, Supercar display; Hot Rod Display; Rally cars; Car Club areas; Motorsport Technology/Education area; Stock Cars; Classic Tours/Runs to the event etc We are also delighted to be celebrating a century of Speed Hillclimbing in the area, with “Hillclimb 100” being a major theme display and demonstration run happening, over the weekend.
